Lu Quanxi leads a research team to conduct in-depth field investigations, providing support for targeted investment promotion within Guilin's new materials industry chain.

From June 10 to 11, Lu Quanxi, Vice Chairman of the Guilin CPPCC and Chairman of the Guilin Municipal Committee of the Jiu San Society, led a special research team to conduct in-depth inspections at key new materials enterprises. The visit aimed to formulate practical strategies for strengthening, supplementing, and extending the city’s new materials industry chain, as well as to boost investment promotion efforts.

The research team first visited China Colored Metals Guilin Institute of Mineral Geology Co., Ltd., where they held a discussion with the company and its subsidiaries—Guilin Tebang New Materials Co., Ltd. and Guilin Bairen Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd.—to gain an in-depth understanding of the companies' technological R&D efforts, market strategies, and growth aspirations. Hu Qiaofan, member of the company's Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, along with other representatives, attended the meeting.

The research team also conducted on-site visits to Guangxi Longguang Talc Development Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Huamei Chuangyuan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. in Longsheng Various Nationalities Autonomous County, focusing on understanding the pathways for high-value utilization of talc resources and breakthroughs in advanced deep-processing technologies. Additionally, they thoroughly examined cutting-edge new materials research achievements and explored opportunities for expanding their applications.

The research team noted that driving the high-quality development of the new materials industry hinges on precisely leveraging our own competitive advantages, proactively positioning ourselves in high-value-added sectors, and further strengthening the industrial chain.
