Guilin City's major industrial project—the Guangxi Huamei Chuangyuan Powder New Materials R&D and Processing Project—holds its completion ceremony.
On February 8, Guangxi Longsheng Huamei Talc Development Co., Ltd. held a completion ceremony for the Huamei Chuangyuan New Materials R&D and Processing Project. Attending the event were Lei Chen, Secretary of the Autonomous County Party Committee; Meng Xinyu, County Mayor of the Autonomous County; Su Haiying, Director of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous County People’s Congress; Yang Guiji, Chairwoman of the Autonomous County CPPCC; Zheng Mingwang, Member of the Autonomous County Party Committee and Vice County Mayor; Yang Xiaolong, Member of the Autonomous County Party Committee and Director of the County Party Committee Office; and Jiang Wenming, Member of the Autonomous County Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee. Also present were key officials from various townships (towns), relevant units directly under the county, and county-owned enterprises.
Huamei Chuangyuan Company was established in July 2023 with a registered capital of 30 million yuan. After one-and-a-half years of intensive development, the company has successfully completed its factory infrastructure construction, equipment installation and commissioning, production line setup, and small-scale trial production. Today, it has become an integrated manufacturer of talc products, covering washing, selection, R&D, production, sales, and after-sales services. The company has also obtained certification under the quality management system. The company’s primary business areas include research and development of new materials, as well as the production and sale of non-metallic mineral products. The project boasts a total investment of 45 million yuan, with a planned land area of 23,000 square meters and an existing building footprint of 10,300 square meters. It is equipped with four masterbatch production lines for talc powder, along with automated packaging and palletizing systems, complemented by comprehensive facilities for warehousing, office space, and R&D activities. Once fully operational, the facility will have an annual production capacity of 40,000 tons of talc powder and talc masterbatch, generating an estimated annual output value of 120 million yuan and contributing 20 million yuan in profits and taxes.
At the completion ceremony of Huamei Chuangyuan Company, Chairman Fang Rongxing stated in his speech: "We will uphold the corporate spirit of 'Elegant yet Substantial, Beautiful and Comprehensive—Uniting in Struggle, Pursuing Excellence,' continuously innovating in product development, market expansion, and management innovation. Meng Xinyu, the county governor of the autonomous county, delivered a speech: "Holding the project completion and production ceremony is not only a recognition of our achievements over the past year but also a hopeful outlook for the future development of the talc industry. The successful completion and launch of Huamei Chuangyuan's new powder material R&D and processing project will create a new engine for economic growth in our county, inject fresh momentum into the upgrading and transformation of the talc industry, and provide strong support for driving high-quality economic and social development in our county."
Amid thunderous applause, Lei Chen, the county Party secretary, solemnly announced: "The R&D and processing project for new talc powder materials at Guangxi Huamei Chuangyuan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. has officially been completed and put into operation!" This marks the official start of operations for Huamei Chuangyuan, while also signaling that our new talc-based product—talc masterbatch—is now poised for exciting growth opportunities and access to an even broader market.
After the ceremony, attendees toured the Guangxi Huamei Chuangyuan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. factory site, gaining firsthand insights into the production process of talc masterbatch, as well as the company’s advanced technical operations and modernized workflows. The state-of-the-art production equipment, cutting-edge process technologies, and rigorous quality-control systems ensure that our products remain highly competitive—and are set to be widely used across industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, papermaking, plastics, ceramics, rubber, fire-resistant materials, coatings, paints, new-energy vehicle manufacturing, and even defense-related high-tech applications.
The completion ceremony not only marks the official start of production and operations for Guangxi Huamei Chuangyuan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., a major project in Guilin City, but also lays a solid foundation for the company’s future growth. We are confident that, under the wise leadership and unwavering support of the county Party committee and government, Huamei Chuangyuan will achieve new milestones in the talc industry—and, at the same time, make even greater contributions to advancing the industry and boosting the county’s economic development.
