While vigorously promoting county-level economic and social development, Huamei Company has always remained committed to its social responsibilities. Over the years, the company has dedicated itself to supporting education by donating funds and resources, actively contributing to and nurturing the growth of Longsheng’s educational initiatives. In 2005, Mr. Sun Jie, the foreign investor from Guangxi Longsheng Huamei Talc Development Co., Ltd., along with Huamei Company, jointly established the "Sun Jie Education" Foundation in Sanmen Town. Since its inception 17 years ago, the foundation has contributed over 3 million yuan in total—of which Mr. Sun Jie personally provided more than 2.2 million yuan, while Huamei Company contributed over 700,000 yuan. All these funds have been exclusively allocated to scholarships, awards for students and teachers, and other educational support programs, demonstrating the company’s unwavering commitment to advancing education in Sanmen Town. To date, the foundation has supported more than 1,800 underprivileged students through scholarships, awarded scholarships to over 900 outstanding students, and recognized the dedication of more than 800 teachers. Notably, on the occasion of the centenary of the Communist Party of China in 2021 and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Longsheng Yao Autonomous County, Huamei Company generously donated 600,000 yuan toward the construction of Longsheng No. 2 Senior High School, further underscoring its dedication to fostering educational excellence in the region.
